Position Overview
We seek a motivated and proactive Business Development Manager to join our A-Players team. This role is crucial in driving our lead generation strategies, managing outreach efforts, and supporting business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with inbound and outbound contacts. This hybrid role combines research, lead generation, communication, and CRM management, with an opportunity to take a proactive role in the department and take on full campaign and activity leadership.
What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive lead generation activities, including market research, contact collection, outreach, and follow-up communications.
- Manage and expand new and existing contact databases, leveraging third-party platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) for outreach while systematically reactivating old contacts.
- Craft clear, engaging messages tailored to the recipient's profile and background, ensuring high-quality communication and relationship building.
- Ensure systematic management of leads and communications within CRM tools and reporting systems, consistently delivering structured updates to the team.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of company events, including event planning, communication, and post-event follow-ups.
- Initially screen unqualified or less-filtered leads and perform preliminary qualifications; within 6-9 months, progress to leading independent calls with ICPs.
- Prepare and present reporting documents and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Work in a team of CEO, CEO of the Business Assistance, Head of Growth and Sales Assistant on complex projects. Taking part in organizing the department work and planning large team campaigns and activities.
- Stakeholder management and timely communications with different players of our community.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales, preferably within the US/EU IT sector (familiarity with the startup ecosystem is a plus).
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to compose well-structured and persuasive messages.
- A proactive mindset and ownership mentality, ready to take responsibility for tasks and contribute to the team's success.
- Eagerness to grow professionally within the sales and business development field with more and more independence, supported by mentorship, training, and development within the team.
- Strong ability to multitask, work independently, and take initiative on projects.
- A well-organized, structured approach to work, with a balance of creativity and attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM systems and proficiency with data structuring in Spreadsheets or other reporting tools.
