Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong background in Node.js, Flutter or React, Python, and machine learning technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations, WebSocket and event-driven architectures, and ensuring compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 certifications. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to building, scaling, and securing the platform, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and compliance teams.

Location: Remote (with the option to work from offices in Helsinki, San Francisco, or Curitiba)

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Node.js, Flutter or React, Python, and AWS.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 compliance.
• Experience with WebSocket and event-driven architectures.
• Proven track record of individual contributions in secure, compliance-oriented environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations.
• Familiarity with machine learning and NLP, including LLMs.
• Proficiency in event-driven frameworks and AWS Lambda.

Experience:

• 5+ years in full-stack development with a focus on secure and scalable solutions.

Tech Stack Expertise:

• Frontend: Flutter or React for responsive and secure UI development.
• Backend: Node.js for APIs and event-driven microservices.
• Python: API development and secure ML model deployment.

Compliance Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 certifications.
• Understanding of data protection and secure coding practices.

Real-Time Systems:

• Expertise in WebSocket implementations and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in Slack and Teams integrations for interactive workflows.

DevOps:

• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Code Ownership: Deliver impactful, high-quality code and technical solutions meeting business and compliance goals.
• Full-Stack Development: Build and optimize web and mobile applications using Flutter or React and Node.js.
• Backend Engineering: Design and maintain backend services and APIs with a focus on security, scalability, and event-driven architecture.
• Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with Slack and Microsoft Teams, including bots, workflows, and notifications.
• Event-Driven Architecture: Implement real-time systems using WebSocket and event-driven frameworks.
• Security & Compliance: Work with compliance teams to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018 standards.
• ML Integration: Collaborate with ML teams to deploy and optimize machine learning models while ensuring data security.
• Mentorship: Lead by example, sharing best practices in security, architecture, and code quality with the team.
• Collaboration: Work with product, design, compliance, and ML teams to deliver secure and user-centric solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to platform scalability, security, and performance.
